Will Shai Gilgeous-Alexander’s game translate smoothly against the Dallas Mavericks?
The Oklahoma City Thunder are bracing for a tough Western Conference semifinal battle against Luka Doncic’s Dallas Mavericks. And before getting into the matchups, it’s worth noting that Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, like many young NBA players before him, showed up in a terrible pre-game outfit for Tuesday’s Game 1.
Aside from looking like a heap of walking, creamy peanut butter, SGA’s suit also received comparisons to ‘diarrhea’ by trolling fans on X. Even OKC fans are left to wonder if SGA’s embarrassing pre-game fit will be a precursor to an embarrassing series.
Gone are the days when large, untailored suits were the worst fashion crime committed by NBA players. They are now trying to pursue shock value by wearing the worst fits ever seen in professional sports.
SGA must have found the suit in Russell Westbrook's trash can. Gilgeous-Alexander may have stolen the worst-dressed “honor” from Westbrook after this shady look.

Even on the biggest stages, NBA stars can't be bothered to wear a decent suit instead of spending tens of thousands of dollars on designer clothes that look ridiculous.
The matchup between OKC and the Dallas Mavericks may be the most difficult series to predict in the second round of the NBA Playoffs.
Dallas relies on Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving to play like superstars. They lack a proper offense coming off the bench, as well as Mavs forward Maxi Kleber, who would benefit Dallas' success offensively and defensively.
OKC is still a young and passionate team with plenty of offensive power to win the series.
