The official psychology sheet for the 2024 Canadian Olympic Trials was released Monday at the Toronto Pan Am Sports Center, one week before the seven-day competition begins.

McIntosh owns the top seed in the six races he entered and won five races in the 2023 Trials (200 Free, 400 Free, 200 Fly, 200 Free, IM400) and 100 Free. 3rd place, but is ranked 3rd in the back 100 race.behind kylie masse and Ingrid Wilm.
There are no semifinals at the Trials, so McIntosh's entry gives her the option to run one race per day.

But looking ahead to Paris, it's hard to imagine McIntosh running the 100m even if he were to qualify, as the semifinals will be held in the same session as the 200m free and 400m IM final. The heat swim may be the only time the 17-year-old competes in Toronto's 100 free relay, but he could potentially lock up a spot in the 400 free relay (although that doesn't matter).
Other notable participants include: Penny Oleksiak and taylor ruckAlthough he has won medals at the past two Olympics, he has recently been plagued by injuries and has changed his training base, causing some uncertainty in his form.
However, Luck has competed frequently since joining Arizona State's pro group, finishing fifth in the women's 50 free at the 2024 World Championships. Oleksiak, who moved to Mission Viejo last year, hasn't competed as much, but she showed improvement from the Westmont Pro Swim in March to the Canadian Open last month.
Both athletes are competing in the women's 50m, 100m and 200m free, with Luck also competing in the 100m back.
Mary-Sophie Harvey She has been in great form lately and has chosen to compete in five races, including the 200 free, an event where she has made great progress this year.

On the male side, josh liend She is the only swimmer to have a medal-winning performance at the 2023 World Championships, winning silver in the 100m fly and will also compete in the 50m, 100m and 200m free.
Newly born world champion finlay knoxComing off an upset title win in the men's 200 IM in Doha, he has a whopping six entries in the meet and a few free relays to potentially compete in the 200 IM (and possibly the 100 fly or 100 breast) individually. He is probably aiming for the right to participate. .
He just finished a stellar freshman year at the NCAAs. Ilya Khan attempted a relatively light program with four entries. As expected, he plans to compete in both fly events, including the 100 free for a relay spot and the 50 free, which will be his third event (along with the 100/200 fly). NCAA Championship.
