LAS VEGAS — Mike Tyson learned to fight on the streets of Brownsville, New York. He is training in a completely different environment for his boxing match with Jake Paul.
Even if the former world champion loses his match to Paul on July 20 in Texas, his makeshift gym in the Las Vegas area may be eligible for an architectural design award.
Images of the stylish facility have been posted on Instagram in recent weeks. They include videos of Tyson training in a plush leather chair set up for viewing outside the ring.

It is said that it was made in
“Mark Davis is a friend of Mike's,” Spicer told USA TODAY Sports in an email. “Mark was very helpful in making this space available for us on a temporary basis. His team was fantastic in helping us build out Mike's vision, including introducing us to the best vendors. .”
It's a modern look with at least one remnant of Tyson's past: the numbered Cus D'Amato Willie heavy bag that D'Amato used to teach Tyson punch combinations. Tyson demonstrated how to use the bag.
How can I book a tour or just stop by for a visit?
