A former biker has become a boxing champion less than two years after being shot six times in the chest.
Former Mongolian biker Sam Abdulrahmin has had an incredible two years in the ring after a traumatic shooting at a funeral.
The 34-year-old was shot six times while attending his cousin's funeral in Melbourne, Australia, in 2022.
The boxer was reportedly leaving the funeral when a car pulled up next to him and he was peppered with bullets.
It is also said that, incredibly, he was able to drive himself to a nearby police station to seek help.
Abdulrahmin miraculously survived after being taken to hospital in critical condition.
Two years later, the Australian puncher has won the WBC Australian Cruiserweight Championship.
“The Punisher” won the title Thursday by defeating Thailand's Pangya Chompoofan.
In the fifth round, Abdulrahmin landed a knockout blow in the form of an uppercut, knocking Chompoo Fan to the canvas and winning the title.
With this win, his undefeated record improved to 8-0, with five of his eight wins coming by knockout.

Despite Abdulrahmin's great story and impressive performance, the fight made little progress.
The two sides were scheduled to meet at Melbourne's Furlan Club, but the venue was set on fire just days before the match was originally scheduled to take place last month.
The players instead chose to compete in Bangkok, Thailand, where Abdulrahmin was still able to get the job done despite fighting away from his home country.
