Boxing legend Prince Naseem Hamed is considering coming out of retirement and is set to face Jake Paul in the future. However, the fight with Jake only occurs under one special condition.
Since entering the world of boxing, Jake Paul has verbally sparred with some of the greatest fighters in the history of the sport. He has gone after the likes of Floyd Mayweather, Saul “Canelo” Alvarez, Carl Froch and Tyson Fury for attention.
He will finally step into the ring and face off against a living boxing legend when he takes on 'Iron' Mike Tyson live on Netflix in July.
The “problem child” has other suitors. Despite the calls from the world of mixed martial arts, an offer from Prince Naseem Hamed, a former featherweight and bantamweight champion with a record of 36-1, is likely to be quite interesting.
The 50-year-old retired from boxing in 2002 and has since cited chronic hand problems as the reason. However, he never officially retired, and he was only willing to fight Jake if the money earned from his fights would be donated to charity.
“For someone to do well, for someone to collect money, to collect an exorbitant amount of money, something needs to be understood, then I can think about it. And bed Get up and do some serious training and get in shape and maybe you can do that.''
“It’s only then that deep down you want to fight and do something based on that.” [to raise money]', the British boxing icon told TalkSport.
Hamed said he would likely raise money for Yemen and Palestine, where his parents are from.
“So, I'd love to be part of the training. And you never know, but if I can get me and all three of my sons on one card in the Middle East, that's “It would be one of my dreams,” he said, adding that he has never officially retired.
Strange things do happen, and as we see with Tyson, Jake is trying to convince the Legends to fight him one last time.
