PORT ANGELES — The Port Angeles boys soccer team, which is rebuilding with mostly freshmen and sophomores, ended its home season Friday night with an 11-1 loss to Olympic League-leading and second-place North Kitsap.

The Riders had their moment of glory in the 74th minute when sophomore Matthew Miller beat several Viking players in midfield and got behind North Kitsap's defense. When the keeper came out, he fired a low shot into the left corner of the goal, scoring his 20th goal of the season.
North Kitsap finished the regular season undefeated and ranked second among 2A schools in the ratings index.
