Murfreesboro, Tennessee – Middle Tennessee Women's Soccer Program and Head Coach Aston Roden Announced promotion of assistant coach Hannah Hofs He will be appointed associate head coach for the upcoming 2024 season.
A native of Maryland, Hofs began his collegiate coaching career by joining the Shenandoah University coaching staff in June 2020 after playing as a midfielder at Loyola University Maryland. Hofs coached primarily midfielders and forwards at Mount St. Mary's from July to November during the fall 2021 season, before joining the Hornets' staff for a second time in December. As the Hornets' lead recruiter, he was responsible for arranging travel for the coaches, creating recruiting schedules, conducting campus visits and facilitating communication with recruits.
Hofs will join Coach Roden's staff in July 2022 and will be in her third season with the Blue Raiders. She now oversees all aspects of the program and will continue to focus on the midfielders, whom she coached last season. Manon Leverzy and Eleanor Gough They were named Conference USA All-Conference selections, with Leversy named to the second team and Goff to the third team.
“Hannah was selected as one of 30 coaches in the country to participate in the United Soccer Coaches 30 Under 30 program and recently successfully completed her U.S. Soccer Federation National C License, so her promotion to associate head coach of the women's soccer program is the next natural step in her coaching progression,” Roden said in response to Hofs' promotion.
“She is an asset to our program and a true representative of our university. I look forward to her continued growth and the great things we can accomplish together.”
The Blue Raiders are scheduled to open their 2024 campaign on Friday, August 16th at 7pm against the Alcorn State Braves at Dean A. Hayes Track & Football Stadium.
