Putigna He joined the Crusaders after spending three seasons as an assistant coach at Worcester State University from 2021-2024, where he led the team to three consecutive ECHA Championships in 2022, 2023 and 2024. During his time at Worcester State University, he also served in a skills development role. Before and during his coaching career, Putigna played professional hockey with the Boston Pride from 2019-2023. She was part of the team that won the regular season championship in 2020 and the Isobel Cup championship in 2021 and 2022. Putigna was also the team's leading scorer in 2021, and she was selected to play in the All-Star Game from 2019-2022. .
Ms. Putigna earned a bachelor's degree in health policy and management from Providence College in 2019. She played ice hockey for the Friars, serving as an assistant captain in the 2018-2019 season, where she scored 110 points in four years. She also received two invitations to Hockey Canada Development Team camps and was selected to represent Canada as an U-22 player.
