Putigna He joined the Crusaders after spending three seasons as an assistant coach at Worcester State University from 2021-2024, where he led the team to three consecutive ECHA Championships in 2022, 2023 and 2024. During his time at Worcester State University, he also served in a skills development role. Before and during his coaching career, Putigna played professional hockey with the Boston Pride from 2019-2023. Putigna was also the team's leading scorer in 2021, and she was selected to play in the All-Star Game from 2019-2022. .
Ms. Putigna earned a bachelor's degree in health policy and management from Providence College in 2019. She played ice hockey for the Friars, serving as an assistant captain in the 2018-2019 season, where she scored 110 points in four years. She also received two invitations to Hockey Canada Development Team camps and was selected to represent Canada as an U-22 player.
