Wisconsin and Ohio State women's hockey teams know each other well
Despite having one of the fiercest rivalries in college hockey, Wisconsin coach Mark Johnson and Ohio State coach Nadine Museral agreed Saturday that the sixth meeting between their teams will be special.
“The big thing for the Buckeyes and us is we're still standing,” Johnson said. “We still have a game left. It's the last game of the season. Both teams know each other well and the games they've played against each other so far have been very entertaining.”
This will be the sixth game between Wisconsin and Ohio State this season. The Buckeyes won the first three games, but the Badgers won the last two, including the WCHA Final Faceoff Championship on March 9.

Britta Karl's leadership is vital to the Wisconsin women's hockey team
Captain and graduate student Britta Carle has been a major contributor to the Badgers' success this season and throughout her career.
She scored 180 points and ranks among the top 10 players in program history (and counting). She is a rare player who has been selected to the WCHA four times. Her undefeated postseason record and her three national championships would make her one of the program's biggest winners. But it's her role as captain that coach Mark Johnson values just as much.
