How can I qualify for the Olympics in track and field?
1,810 athletes (905 women and 905 men) are scheduled to participate in the 2024 Paris Olympics. Half of the spots will be given to those who meet the eligibility criteria within the qualifying period, and the remaining half will be determined in the order of the World Athletics Rankings within the ranking period for each event. The ranking period will be the same as the qualifying period for each individual event, from July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024. Up to three athletes can qualify in each individual event.
