The Arkansas Razorbacks football team has had 25 scholarship players enter the transfer portal since the start of fall camp, with 24 finding new teams since the portal closed on May 1.
Of those 25, nine were starters for the Hogs this season. Seven other players also transferred from the Razorbacks, but all were walk-ons.
Here are all the players who have transferred out of Arkansas on scholarship, as well as the players who have yet to find a home.

KJ Jefferson, QB – UCF
~ Entered the portal on December 16th
~ Transferred to UCF
Career stats: 626-962 completion percentage, 7,911 passing yards, 67 passing touchdowns, 18 interceptions, 523 carries, 1,876 rushing yards, 21 rushing touchdowns
Sometimes moving forward is best for both sides, and that was true for Jefferson and Arkansas. The bulldozer playmaker will be fondly remembered for putting the Hogs back on the map after the Chad Morris era, but it was time for a change after offensive coordinator Bobby Petrino was hired during the offseason. He should thrive in a Gus Malzahn-led offense out of Central Florida.
Raheim Sanders, RB – South Carolina
~ Entered the portal on December 6th
~ Transferred to South Carolina
Career stats: 398 carries, 2,230 rushing yards, 17 rushing TDs
This was a tough sell for Razorbacks fans. Sanders threw for 1,443 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2022, but injuries prevented him from returning to the same form and he's now with a conference rival. If all goes well, he could have a big year for the Gamecocks.
Chris Paul Jr., LB – Ole Miss
~ Entered the portal on December 4th
~ Transferred to Ole Miss University
Career stats: 68 solo tackles, 137 total tackles, 15.0 tackles for loss, 6.0 sacks, forced fumbles.
Defensive end and fan favorite “Pooh” Paul surprised Arkansas when he entered the transfer portal, and even more surprising was that his destination was rival SEC team, Ole Miss. Expect him to be in the middle of some big plays by the Rebels defense next season.
Jordan Crook, LB – Arizona State University
~ Entered the portal on November 28th
~Relocated to Arizona
Career stats: 16 solo tackles, 40 total tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, 1.0 sack, forced fumble.
Crook's departure was a bit of a surprise considering how big a leap he made as a sophomore and the opportunities he was meant to have as a Razorback in 2024, but it's almost certain he'll be Arizona State's starter next season.
AJ Green, RB – Oklahoma State University
~ Entered the portal on December 4th
~ Transferred to Oklahoma State University
Career stats: 201 carries, 953 yards rushing, 6 rushing TDs, 19 receptions, 184 yards receiving, 2 receiving TDs.
A mainstay in Arkansas' running back corps the past three seasons, Green transferred to Stillwater, Oklahoma, hoping to see an increase in carries, but unfortunately a lower leg injury will keep him out for the foreseeable future.
Jaheim Thomas, LB – Wisconsin
~ Entered the portal on December 30th
~ Transferred to Wisconsin
Career stats: 72 solo tackles, 185 total tackles, 13.5 tackles for loss, 6.0 sacks.
Like Paul, Thomas' departure is a major blow to the Hogs' linebacker depth, as he recorded 90 combined tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks with the Cardinal and White and will be missed after transferring to Wisconsin.
Anthony Booker, DT – SMU
~ Entered the portal on December 12th
~ Transferred to SMU
Career stats: 38 solo tackles, 66 total tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, 2 forced fumbles.
Booker, nicknamed “Tank,” was a behemoth up front and a solid reserve for the Razorbacks, and he'll likely assume a bigger role as a Mustang.
La'Darius Bishop, DB – UNLV
~ Entered the portal on January 12th
~ Transferred to UNLV
Career stats: 34 solo tackles, 59 total tackles, 2.0 tackles for loss.
Bishop always had an advantage in terms of speed, but that didn't seem to work out in Fayetteville, and he'll return to UNLV with former Arkansas defensive coordinator Barry Odom at a level better suited to his talents.
Joey Su'a, OL – Arizona State University
~ Entered the portal on December 13th
~Relocated to Arizona
While it's always tough to lose an offensive lineman just one year into college, it was probably for the best for Su'a and the Razorbacks. He's a good-sized player at 6-foot-4 and 346 pounds and will join Crook on the Sun Devils.
Malik Chavis, DB – UNLV
~ Entered the portal on December 6th
~ Transferred to UNLV
Career stats: 20 solo tackles, 38 total tackles, 1.0 tackle for loss, 1.0 sack, interception.
Joining Bishop at Las Vegas, Nevada, is Chavis, also from the Razorbacks, who struggled to get consistent playing time, and Odom will be looking to transform the two SEC transfers into a dangerous secondary in the Mountain West.
Devon Manuel, OL – Florida
~ Entered the portal on December 4th
~ Transferred to Florida
Arkansas' offensive line was a weak spot last season, but Manuel flourished at the tackle position, earning a Pro Football Focus grade of 69.4 in 417 snaps. A highly touted transfer candidate, Manuel will look to get his college career back on track at Florida.
Taurean Carter, DT – Colorado
~ Entered the portal on December 4th
~ Transferred to Colorado
Career stats: 16 solo tackles, 60 total tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks.
Deion Sanders knows how to navigate the transfer portal, even if it doesn't necessarily reflect in a win-loss record. Still, Carter would thrive at Colorado in a weak Big 12 team.
Mani Powell, LB – UNLV
~ Entered the portal on December 4th
~ Transferred to UNLV
Career stats: 3 solo tackles, 5 total tackles.
Rounding out the trio of Arkansas transfers to UNLV is Powell, another promising linebacker who showed talent but wasn't given enough opportunities. Under the tutelage of former Arkansas linebackers coach and current UNLV defensive coordinator Mike Scherer, he'll have a much clearer path to getting on the field.
Jalen Lewis, DB – Temple
~ Entered the portal on December 4th
~ Moved to the temple
Career stats: One solo tackle, three total tackles.
Lewis was considered an underrated recruit coming to Arkansas out of Haywood High School in Brownsville, Tennessee, but barely produced any results in just three games for the Hogs.
Rolando Johnson, DB – Baylor
~ Entered the portal on April 22nd
~ Transferred to Baylor University
Career stats: 20 solo tackles, 29 total tackles, 4.0 tackles for loss, 1.0 sack, interception, 5 passes defensed.
Johnson was a roller coaster in the secondary in his lone season in Fayetteville, with some highlight plays and others head-scratching, but “Snaxx” is a physical defensive back with plenty of energy who will return to his alma mater in Baylor.
RJ Johnson, DB – Colorado
~ Entered the portal on April 30th
~ Transferred to Colorado
No career statistics
There isn't much to say about Johnson, who didn't achieve much with the Hogs.
Dominique Johnson, RB – TCU
~ Entered the portal on April 29th
~ Transferred to TCU
Career stats: 136 carries, 785 yards rushing, 8 rushing TDs, 9 receptions, 75 yards receiving, TD receiving
Johnson just recently led the team in receiving yards with 575 in the 2021 season. A big-bodied ball-carrier, Johnson has struggled with injuries and struggled to break into the top two of Arkansas' backfield rotation. He's looking to finish his career at TCU with former Arkansas running backs coach Jimmy Smith.
Jacolby Criswell, QB – North Carolina
~ Entered the portal on April 16th
~ Transferred to North Carolina
Career stats: 35-of-58 completion percentage, 347 passing yards, four passing touchdowns, an interception, 43 carries, 177 rushing yards, a rushing touchdown
Criswell returned to North Carolina this spring after one-plus seasons in Fayetteville, and he'll face off against Texas A&M transfer Max Johnson on the Tar Heels, the same team he started with out of high school.
Max Fletcher, P – Cincinnati
~ Entered the portal on April 18th
~ Transferred to Cincinnati
Career stats: 97 punts, 2,770 punting yards, 43.2 punting average
Fletcher's decision to enter the transfer portal was surprising, as he ended up with a strong sophomore season with the Razorbacks, but his destination makes sense, as his older brother, Mason Fletcher, is also a punter for the Bearcats.
Paris Patterson, OL – SMU
~ Entered the portal on April 20th
~ Transferred to SMU
There could be no better fit for Patterson than the SMU Mustangs. At 6-foot-6 and 350 pounds, size won't be an issue for Patterson in the ACC.
Isaiah Augustave, RB – Colorado
~ Entered the portal on April 16th
~ Transferred to Colorado
Career stats: 35 carries, 202 yards rushing, rushing TD, 3 receptions, 7 yards receiving.
Less than 48 hours after playing in Arkansas' spring football game, Augustave was entered into the transfer portal. Scheduled to play as a backup to Utah transfers Ja'Quinden Jackson and Rashaud Dubinion, Augustave was one of the players the Hogs wanted to retain, but in the age of the transfer portal, the move makes sense.
Andrew Chamblee, OL – SMU
~ Entered the portal on April 16th
~ Transferred to SMU
Chamblee was one of the lowest-graded offensive linemen in the country last season with a combined 52.2 PFF grade in 405 appearances at the tackle position. Like Patterson, Chamblee's talents would be better suited for SMU and the ACC.
Francis Sherman, TE – Cincinnati
~ Entered the portal on April 8th
~ Transferred to Cincinnati
Career stats: 5 receptions, 40 yards receiving, TD receiving
The transfer announcement came as a bit of a shock, as most people didn't even know Sherman still had eligibility. He was originally scouted for his blocking ability, but he didn't perform well in the SEC and would end his career in Cincinnati.
Sam Mbacke, WR – Kilgore JC
~ Entered the portal on December 4th
~ Transferred to Kilgore JC
Mbacke looked like a potential breakout player in 2023 before suffering a season-ending injury in a preseason scrimmage. He was then released by the team mid-season and is now looking to right his wrongs at the JUCO level.
NOTES: Former Arkansas defensive end Jashaud Stewart is the only transfer without a new team. He was released by the team after being arrested by Fayetteville police in December on charges of first-degree criminal damage to property and trespass.
