When will NCAA College Football 25 be released?

DALLAS — Football fans and gamers around the world are eagerly awaiting the release of the highly anticipated EA Sports College Football 25 video game.

The game allows fans to play as their favorite college football team, compete against rivals, and experience the culture and traditions of a college football stadium.

Fans of the game have been waiting for this release for over a decade, with the last edition of the game being NCAA Football 14, which was released just before the 2013 college football season.

The game's developer, Electronic Arts, was barred from developing the game after a court ruling in 2013 ruled that players couldn't feature their likenesses in the game if they weren't being paid. Until recently, players were prohibited from receiving compensation based on their name, image and likeness (NIL).

Recent changes to the NIL rules have allowed players to be paid and brought back the fan-favorite game.

EA Sports is set to release the game worldwide on July 19th, but players who pre-order the Deluxe Edition of the game by July 18th will get early access starting July 16th.

EA Sports College Football 25 will be released on Sony's PlayStation 5 and Microsoft's Xbox Series X and S. PC gamers won't have access to the game, at least at launch, and there's been no word from EA Sports on whether a PC port is in the works.

The game will feature all 134 schools in the Football Bowl Subdivision.

EA Sports offered FBS players a minimum of $600 as compensation to have their likeness featured in the game, plus a copy of the game, and also offered some players NIL contracts to promote the game through an ambassador program.

The game's cover athletes are Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers, Colorado two-way player Travis Hunter and Michigan running back Donovan Edwards, who are rated 92, 95 and 91 overall, respectively.
