Boston University is rightly praised for having a well-rounded team, but there is no doubt that Boston University is the most promising draft prospect heading into the 2024 NHL Draft. That's Macklin Celebrini. The center is ranked No. 1 overall in Chris Peters' 2024 NHL Draft rankings and will likely be the No. 1 pick in the draft later this summer.
BU crushed its opponents heading into the Frozen Four, first defeating RIT 6-3 and then defeating Minnesota by the same score two days later.
Denver has a more elite prospect than their own (Zeev Bouium is currently ranked No. 11 in the same draft rankings), and although they have been low on scoring in the NCAA Tournament thus far, the Pioneers have conceded just two points overall. I only allow it. Denver defeated the University of Massachusetts and Cornell University en route to the Frozen Four.
