The NBA Finals topped the sports viewership charts on Wednesday, June 12th, as they do every year.
Game 3 of the NBA Finals between the Celtics and Mavericks on Wednesday averaged a 6.0 rating and 11.43 million viewers across ABC (5.7, 10.97 million) and ESPN (0.27, 453K), which was flat and up 2% from last year's Nuggets vs. Heat (6.0, 11.24 million) and was the most-watched sporting event of the day.

No other sporting event even reached the 200,000 mark: Major League Baseball's daytime game between the Athletics and Padres ranked third on MLB Network with 170,000 viewers, while the local late-night slot had 151,000 viewers. The annual Congressional Baseball Game averaged 116,000 viewers on FS1.
On game day of the NBA Finals, FS1's talk show “Undisputed” averaged 35,000 viewers, its second-lowest viewership since returning from a hiatus last year, trailing only the Friday of Memorial Day weekend (31,000).
