The Stanley Cup Final is over, with the Florida Panthers hoisting the cup after Game 7 on Monday night, but more honors are set to be handed out on Thursday when the NHL Awards take place in Las Vegas.
The event is a prelude to the NHL Draft, which will be held at the Las Vegas Sphere on Friday and Saturday. Several awards have already been handed out, including the Conn Smythe Trophy, which went to the Oilers' Connor McDavid despite losing in the Stanley Cup final, and the Jack Adams Award, which went to Canucks coach Rick Tocquet.
However, five major awards will be presented at the NHL awards show, including the Hart Trophy, Ted Lindsay Trophy, Vezina Trophy, Norris Trophy and Calder Trophy.
