UFC Hall of Famer Georges St-Pierre has kept his bet with former welterweight champion Kamaru Usman in the NHL Stanley Cup Finals.

St-Pierre honours bet with Usman
After a tough NHL regular season and playoffs, the Florida Panthers won the Stanley Cup for the first time in franchise history, defeating the Edmonton Oilers in seven games after the Oilers stormed back from a three-game deficit in Florida to force a winner-take-all match.
St-Pierre and Usman made a bet before Game 7 that the losing fan would have to do 30 push-ups wearing the opposing team's jersey, and “Rush” recently fulfilled the bet by wearing a custom Panthers jersey after Usman's Panthers beat the Oilers 2-1 to win the series.
The Oilers are one of seven Canada-based teams in the NHL, but none of those franchises have won a Stanley Cup since the Montreal Canadiens in 1993, leaving many proud Canadians like St-Pierre hopeful to finally see a Canadian team hoist the trophy for the first time in more than 30 years.
Usman was at Game 7 of the Stanley Cup Finals last month and recently spoke about his intentions to move back to welterweight for his next bout after losing a unanimous decision to Khamzat Chimaev in a hastily arranged middleweight bout at UFC 294.
St-Pierre retired from MMA following his return fight at UFC 217, when he won the middleweight belt from Michael Bisping, but “The Rush” recently made it clear he considered his competitive days over after pulling out of a scheduled grappling bout late last year.
