Lukas Bukovac would like to forget about the Clash of the Stars for good. The MMA Octagon has witnessed countless bouts with astonishing results. It is also the testament to several instances where fighters proposed to their loved ones inside the cage. Unfortunately for Bukovac, he had to suffer a double blow.
Coming into the action at the Clash of the Stars MMA event, Bukovac faced off against Patrick Holbert in a double-team match. Prior to the bout, his opponent, Jan Michalek, was considered the underdog in the bout, and as expected, the two-on-one matchup inside the Octagon looked like a losing battle.
However, things didn't go as planned: the outcome of the match was shocking, but Bukobaz also received a heavy blow from his girlfriend.
Lukas Bukobaz gets rejected by his girlfriend
Jan Michalek stunned the crowd with wins over both Bukovaz and Horvat. The Czech fighter had no idea that his night of disaster had only just begun. Soon after the loss, Bukovaz decided to turn to his girlfriend to ease his pain.
With his girlfriend inside the ring, Bukobaz took out the ring and proposed to his partner. In a shocking twist, Bukobaz's girlfriend rejected the proposal, embarrassing him in front of 20,000 people.
“Probably not, after everything that's happened,” she said. The whole arena immediately started booing her, but that didn't change her decision. Bukobaz's girlfriend later commented on the fighter's infidelity.
However, there is conclusive evidence to back up the same. Meanwhile, another MMA fighter proposed to his girlfriend last month and was lucky enough to get a “yes.”
Patchy Mix gets lucky with Tatiana Suarez
A few weeks ago, in May 2024, Patchy Mix tried his luck in love in the city of love. Before the bantamweight championship, Mix was under the Eiffel Tower with his girlfriend, Tatiana Suarez. The undefeated strawweight fighter was sharing a heartwarming moment with her. Little did she know that what was to come next would make that night in Paris a memorable one forever.
Mix surprised Suarez by getting down on one knee, pulling out a ring and proposing to her. Luckily, unlike Bukovaz, Mix's luck in love worked out for him. The lovestruck couple embraced as Tatyana showed off the ring. Even better, Lady Luck shone brightly for Mix, who won a bantamweight bout against Magomedov in May.
