Welcome to Midnight Mania!
Like it or not, Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson is happening.
The bout, scheduled for July 20 in Arlington, Texas, and broadcast live on Netflix, has not evoked very good feelings from the boxing community. Paul has faced significant criticism for pursuing a match with the 57-year-old retired boxer. Still, matches are being held, although it is unclear whether they will be considered professional matches.
It's a good thing that the Texas Athletic Commission is notoriously incompetent.
Training camps for martial arts athletes typically begin eight or 12 weeks away from the event. July 20th is more than three months away for him (about 19 weeks from today), but preparing for a fight at 57 years old is different. Perhaps Tyson will start training more slowly than an athlete in his prime.
Either way, Tyson looks fast and strong in the short clip above. I'm hitting pads with legendary mixed martial arts coach Rafael Cordeiro. Rafael Cordeiro also helped Roy Jones Jr. prepare for 2020.
I hope one of these left hooks lands on Flash in July.

Colby Covington vs. Ian Garry? I watched it and it was time for “Chaos” to fight his way down the ladder and defend his position.
Tyson Pedro went broke in mixed martial arts, but now he's back in the boxing ring.
I hope Francis Ngannou's next move is his PFL debut, but I don't blame him for accepting another huge check to fight Deontay Wilder (or anything like that).
Francis Ngannou insisted that “boxing is not over” despite his knockout loss to Anthony Joshua, but noted that his next fight could be an MMA match against Renan Ferreira with PFL.

Drop Sonagi into nature!
I'd love to hear other answers in the comments, but the one that obviously comes to my mind is Nick Diaz lying on the canvas in front of Anderson Silva.
What's the most ridiculous thing you've ever seen an MMA fighter do?
Both inside and outside the cage.

Cory Sandhagen is privately upset that Marlon Vera got a chance to win the title before him. His criticism was extremely mean!
The support you need in your corner.
Slip, Rip, KO Clip
“Mixed martial artists don't move their heads like boxers!”
Check Kongo talks about perhaps the biggest come-from-behind KO in UFC history.
Great club and sub!

I wasn't expecting how this clip would end.

Sleep mania! More martial arts crazes are always on the way.
