He's a longtime black belt and two-time silver medalist at the ADCC, which is considered the Holy Grail of BJJ competition, but Jones will be hosting an invitation-only BJJ tournament on August 16th and 17th, which coincides with this year's ADCC schedule.

Craig Jones hosts an invitation-only Brazilian Jiu Jitsu tournament for a special cause, which he describes on the Craig Jones Invitational (CJI) website as “a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the sport and athlete compensation, while raising funds for charitable causes.”
To quickly summarise, Jones wants to increase the prize money at ADCC. That's why he's organising this event to raise the prize money at ADCC. Jones has already proven he has a shot at winning the tournament, with a whopping $1 million up for grabs across two different weight classes: $1 million each for the winner of the over 80kg and under 80kg weight classes.
To prove his point, Jones piled $1 million on Rogan's table, leaving the UFC commentator astonished. He said (via MMA Mania): “I've never seen a million dollars in one place! I've never even seen a check for a million dollars.”
Craig Jones announces fights against Joe Rogan and Gabi Garcia
Gabi Garcia is an undefeated female mixed martial artist. She's both a grappling legend and a physical specimen. Garcia stands 6'4″ tall and weighs around 250 pounds. When asked by Joe Rogan if she would actually fight Garcia, Jones responded (via Essentially Sports): “Right now, we're talking about the most decorated female athlete of all time, Gabi Garcia, signing a contract to fight me at my event. It's going to happen 100%. We booked it, we signed this contract a minute ago. So, I mean, I had to do a lot to make it happen.”
Jones went on to say the fight would be a spectacular one for the fans, and claimed he would not be training for the bout: “I'm not going to train that hard, but I'm happy she's going to train for it. Oh man, it's been a long time. We've been talking about this for two and a half years. It's like an arranged marriage or something,” he said, laughing.
Athletes such as Nicky Ryan, Mason Fowler and Nicky Rodriguez will also be taking part in this unique event, which is definitely one to watch for BJJ fans.
