Landwehr is a true scrapper, always coming forward to join the fight wherever he goes. He loves to brawl, but his defense is very solid, always keeping his guard high and tight and keeping his head off the center line. He fights with a jab and is always in the pocket, looking for an opportunity to land a combination. Landwehr is willing to mix it up, averaging one successful takedown and one submission attempt per 15 minutes. He doesn't mind taking a hit and is at his best in aerial combat.

Emmers is a tall striker with good speed and movement. He is elusive, never stays in one place for long, and always has his head off the center line. He always kicks in range and then lunges inside to release his hand. Emmers is an excellent defensive grappler, defending 90% of his attempted takedowns in the UFC, averaging nearly two takedowns per 15 minutes. He can do damage from long range and in the pocket, and he does everything with incredible speed.
