Salt Lake City (ABC4) — It's time to start counting down the days when fans can attend Utah Hockey Club games. On Thursday, June 20, the club announced its first-ever preseason schedule, featuring seven games, including two in the Beehive State.
The Utah Hockey Club will play their first preseason game on the road, taking on the St. Louis Blues in Des Moines, Iowa on Sunday, September 22. The team will then play the club's first home preseason game on Monday, September 23, hosting the Lost Angels Kings at the Delta Center at 7 pm.
Utah's preseason will see the team once again on the road to face the Vegas Golden Knights on Friday, September 27, the Colorado Avalanche on Sunday, September 29, the San Jose Sharks on Tuesday, October 1 and the Anaheim Ducks on Wednesday, October 2.
The preseason schedule will conclude with a match against the Colorado Avalanche at the Maverick Center in West Valley on Saturday, Oct. 5. Officials said the decision to hold the game at the Maverick Center was due to a “prior commitment” at the Delta Center.
