USC football begins spring practice on Tuesday. For the first time this season, Trojan football players are heading to practice in preparation for the April 20 spring football game.
The Trojans will also hold their pro day on March 20, the day after spring practice begins.
Here are some of the Trojans arriving at the first Pro Day.
One of the biggest storylines this spring will be the quarterback battle between Miller Moss and Jayden Maiava. Moss impressed when he led the Trojans to a Holiday Bowl victory while throwing six touchdown passes.
However, the Trojans brought in former UNLV QB Maiava as a transfer to provide another option and competition. Whoever wins the QB1 spot will have a big responsibility as he will be replacing Caleb Williams, the team's Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback.
Freshman defensive lineman Kameryn Fountain is already attracting attention thanks to her impressive size and height.
Another important storyline for the Trojans is how their defense will look and develop under new defensive coordinator Danton Lin. The Trojans were successful in luring Lin away from UCLA, where he established a top-10 defense. Defense is the Trojans' kryptonite and is an area they will look to improve in 2024.
One notable Trojan who missed practice is Deuce Robinson, who also plays on the school's baseball team. Robinson will play in Tuesday's baseball game instead.
But star returner and first-team All-American Zachariah Branch is ready.
