The 2024 Olympics will be held in Paris this summer. Athletes from all over the world gather in his one location to compete for the ultimate bragging rights. Some sports vary by year and level of interest. After a brief hiatus, wrestling will return to the Olympic Games.
Wrestling has a long history in the Olympics. It was removed from the Olympics in 2013 but reinstated following criticism of the decision and the leadership of the International Olympic Committee. The United States, which has won more than 130 of her medals in this competition, aims to take over that position in 2024.
A trial event will be held April 19-20 to determine Team USA's lineup. Penn State University, home to the top wrestling school in the country, will host the event. Multiple weight classes will compete in his four sessions, with over 190 athletes looking to make their mark.
Who will prove they are the best, qualify for Paris, and represent the United States?
