U.S. Soccer has teamed up with Nike to unveil the long-awaited uniforms for all 27 national teams in time for the 2024 Paris Olympics. As the league's official outfitter, Nike once again proved its excellence in sports apparel design by creating unique home and away uniforms for each team.
These uniforms, known as the American Classic Uniform and the American Icon Uniform, are worn by the national team during home and away games, respectively. The debut of these uniforms will be marked by a men's national team match in Jamaica this week. Following this debut, the men's and women's national teams will proudly wear these new uniforms in the lead-up to and during the Paris Olympics.
The uniform will be worn not only by the primary national team, but also by the expanded national team, which includes various divisions such as beach soccer and differential soccer, as well as by the youth national teams participating in this year's FIFA World Cup.
The American Classic kit features an all-white base jersey with striking red and blue accents. A delicate and patriotic flag design is featured throughout the colors, with the American flag proudly displayed on the chest. Complementing the jersey are navy blue shorts, completing the classic look.
For away games, players will wear the American Icon kit. This kit is primarily blue with a bright white and red bottom, reminiscent of the iconic Popsicle Bomb Pop. This design pays homage to the team's 2014 uniform inspiration. The jersey comes with red shorts and socks, adding a pop of color to the ensemble.
In addition, each team will sport a pre-match set featuring a stylish blue and red wave pattern, emblazoned with the logo of sponsor Volkswagen.
Excited soccer fans looking to support their favorite team can purchase these distinctive jerseys from the official US Soccer online store starting March 21st. Don't miss the opportunity to show your pride and unity as your national team embarks on its journey to glory. 2024 Paris Olympics.
