The U.S. men's basketball team is heading to Paris for the 2024 Olympics, aiming for its fifth consecutive Olympic gold medal.

LeBron James and Kevin Durant will be at the top of the roster as they prepare for their fourth Olympic appearance, tying Carmelo Anthony for the most in team history.
The last two U.S. Olympic rosters weren't weak (Team USA won gold both times), but they don't compare to the talent that will be on display in 2024. James returns for the first time in 12 years, along with Durant and Audi. Charania said he has a few future Hall of Fame talents.

The final spot on the men's roster has yet to be decided, but Charania reported that Kawhi Leonard is the frontrunner. Paolo Banchero, Mikal Bridges, Jalen Brunson and Paul George also participate.
Who coaches the American men's basketball team?
This will be the first Olympics under new head coach Steve Kerr. Gregg Popovich resigned from his position after the U.S. team won the gold medal at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics.
Even without Popovich, the coaching staff is still extremely talented. Mark Few, Tyronn Lue and Erik Spoelstra will serve as assistant coaches, and Grant Hill will serve as the team's managing director.

USA Team Basketball 2024 Olympic Schedule
