Lexington, Kentucky – U.S. Equestrian is pleased to announce that athlete and horse combinations have been selected to represent the U.S. Olympic Show Jumping Team as part of Team USA at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games to be held in Versailles, France from July 27-August 9, 2024. Show jumping will begin on August 1, 2024 and run through August 6, 2024 at the Versailles Equestrian Stadium.
“We are extremely fortunate to have three of the sport's most experienced athletes, all riding horses in top form heading into the Olympics, plus a strong pair of alternate athlete horses in Carl and Caracol, who have been in great form recently,” said team principal Robert Ridland. “Now that selections have been completed, we are 100% focused on Paris.”
The U.S. Olympic Show Jumping Team is led by Team Director Robert Ridland along with Team Leader Lizzie Chesson, assisted by Team Veterinarian Heather Sherman, Team Equine Physical Therapist Janus Marquis, Team Human Physical Therapist Jennifer Mitchell and Team Farrier Chuck Jones.
The following combinations were selected for the U.S. Olympic Jumping Team and are listed in alphabetical order:
