Mariyon Dye, the No. 14 edge rusher in the class of 2025, has committed to the University of Tennessee for football.
Dye announced his decision on social media on Friday, saying: “I'm home. Good luck everyone!”
Dye, a four-star defensive lineman, committed to Tennessee over Ohio State and Purdue after his official visit last weekend. The Elkhart High School student in Indiana also visited Ohio State, Purdue and reigning champion Michigan.
The 6-foot-5, 260-pound Dye is Tennessee coach Josh Heupel's fourth defensive lineman and 16th commitment in the 2025 class. Dye's commitment adds to a recruiting surge at Tennessee. He's the fifth commitment in the past nine days for coach Heupel.
According to the 247Sports Composite, Dye is ranked No. 150 overall in the class of 2025. He can sign on Dec. 4 when the early signing period opens.
