CEDAR FALLS, Iowa — Representatives from 23 NFL franchises gathered inside the UNI Dome on Monday afternoon as UNI Football held its annual Pro Day.
Eight Panthers were trained and measured in front of scouts, media and fans ahead of the 2024 NFL Draft.
All MVFC Honorable Mention defensive lineman Cordarius Bailey bench pressed 26 reps with a vertical of 27 inches. On the field, Bailey finished with an 8-foot long jump and a 4.91-second shuttle drill.
2023 Hula Bowl, East West Shrine Bowl Participants christian boyd He performed only on the bench press and finished with 38 reps, the highest in a professional day. Boyd was an AP All-American third-team player and an All-MVFC first-team player.
place kicker Matthew Cook He finished practicing on the bench after only 20 innings. Cook was a first-team All-MVFC player as well as a first-team AP All-American.
Theo's day At pro day, he practiced everything except the bench press. The quarterback finished with a 40-yard dash time of 4.89 seconds, a 35-inch vertical jump, a 9-5 broad jump, a 4.53-second shuttle run and a 7.29-second three-cone drill.
defensive back Governor Wu He finished the day with 16 bench presses, a 35-inch vertical jump, 40.49 seconds, a 10-foot UNI broad jump and a 4.34 shuttle run. Governor finished the season as an All-MVFC first-team player.
Kayden Houghteling He finished his pro day with a bench press of 28, a vertical jump of 33 1/2 inches, a broad jump of 9-6, and a 40 of 5.02 seconds.
The last UNI defensive lineman at Pro Day. Devin Rice He ran the fastest 40 time of the day by a defensive lineman at 4.91. He also finished with a 31 1/2-inch vertical jump, a 9-4 broad jump and a 5-second shuttle run.
wide receiver Sam Schnee He was the only Panther receiver at Pro Day. He finished with 17 bench presses, a 4.59.40, a Pro Day-best 36 1/2-inch vertical jump, a 9-8 broad jump, and the fastest Pro Day three-cone drill of 6.9 seconds.
The 2024 NFL Draft will be held April 25-27 in Detroit.
