Nebraska football's roster continues to expand as a St. Louis native announces his commitment.
The latest Nebraska football news this offseason is from Houston. Texas offensive lineman David Hopkin, a 22-year-old international from Germany, committed to Nebraska yesterday. He has four more years of eligibility and will join the 2024 team immediately. Huf Keng is a big guy, 6'7″ tall and 257 pounds, who trained at the Huskers' satellite camp the last few days and accepted the offer on the spot. He hadn't played football in two years, nor had he played high school in the U.S., but he played high-level club football in Germany before accepting the offer to play at UMASS. But due to the pandemic and personal reasons, he didn't go to UMASS and he's been waiting for this opportunity for a year and a half now. Another big commitment news for Nebraska football was announced on Wednesday. Four-star running back Jamarion Parker has committed to the Huskers. The 6-foot-1, 190-pound St. Louis native chose the Huskers over TCU, Illinois and Alabama. He is Nebraska's second-highest ranked player in the 2025 class.
