A former police dispatcher and men's coach is accused of having sexual conversations with eight players and inappropriately touching two.

UNION BEACH, N.J. — A Union Beach boys soccer coach is accused of having sexually explicit conversations with eight of the boys soccer players under his supervision, and two of them are also accused of inappropriate touching. Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond Santiago alleges.
Ryan Gansols, 32, is also charged with distributing sexually explicit images of minors between the ages of 11 and 17. News 12 reported that Ryan Gansols sent sexually explicit photos of himself to underage boys.

The charges against Gansols were announced in a press release Tuesday by Monmouth County First Assistant Prosecutor Chris Decker.
Gansols is also a Union Beach volunteer firefighter and previously worked as a dispatcher for the Union Beach Police Department.
The investigation began last week after a boy stated that Gunsols, an adult, solicited and distributed sexual photos of him on an anonymous social media app.
Union Beach Police and the Monmouth County Prosecutor's Office Special Victims Unit then became involved. As the investigation continued, additional victims, ranging in age from 11 to 17, were identified and contacted for questioning, police said.
NJ101.5 reported Gunsols coached in the Union Beach Soccer Association, a youth soccer league.
Gunsols was arrested without incident on Friday, May 10, in Hazlett. He is currently being held in the Monmouth County Jail pending an initial hearing scheduled for Monday in Monmouth County Superior Court.
