The UFC has trimmed its roster as eight fighters have been removed.
Monday evening, X account The UFC Roster Tracker, which tracks the UFC roster and who has been added and removed, revealed that eight fighters have been waived. According to the account, Mike Breeden, Ferny Garcia, Luis Saldana, Dennis Bondar, Daniel Lacerda, Matheus Mendonca, Tyson Pedro and Jamie Pickett have all been removed from the UFC roster.
Please note that being removed from the UFC roster does not mean a fighter has been released. Rather, it could mean that the fighter fought to the end of his contract and did not re-sign, or in some cases it could be due to retirement.
Featherweight: Mike Breeden (MMA 11 wins, 6 losses)

Mike Breeden last fought in October, scoring a second round knockout of Anshul Jubli, but had to drop weight. Prior to his win, Breeden was KO'd by Terrence McKinney, lost a decision to Nathan Levy, and was KO'd by Alexander Hernandez.
Bantamweight: Fernie Garcia (MMA 10 wins, 5 losses)

Ferny Garcia went 0-4 in the UFC and was removed from the roster. Garcia lost by second-round TKO to Haider Amir, but before that he suffered three consecutive decision losses to Tomoya Nakamura, Brady Hiestand and Journey Newson.

Luis Saldana has not fought since August 2022, when he fought Sean Woodson to a draw at UFC 278. Saldana is 2-1-1 in the UFC with wins over Bruno Souza and Jordan Griffin, with his only loss coming to Austin Ringo. .

Dennis Bondar is 0-3 in the UFC, coming off a submission loss to Ronaldo Rodriguez at UFC Mexico City. Before that, he lost a decision to Carlos Hernandez and a submission loss to Malcolm Gordon.
Bantamweight: Daniel Lacerda (11 wins, 6 losses, 1 no contest MMA)

Daniel Lacerda was removed from the UFC roster after failing to win a single fight in six fights. Lacerda was coming off a submission loss to Edgar Chiles, ending all five of his losses in the UFC.

Mark Madsen has announced his retirement from MMA and has been removed from the UFC roster. Madsen went 4-2 in the promotion, but suffered back-to-back losses by knockout to Jared Gordon and submission to Grant Dawson.

Matheus Mendonca went 0-3 in the promotion and was removed from the UFC roster. Mendonca lost a split decision to Jesus Aguilar at UFC Mexico City, and before that he lost by TKO to Nate Maness and by decision to Javid Basharat.
