The weigh-ins for UFC Vegas 93 took place today, Friday, June 14th.
UFC Vegas 93 takes place tomorrow, Saturday, June 15, at the UFC APEX facility in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The main event of the event will be a featherweight battle between Alex Perez (25-8 MMA) and the undefeated Tatsuro Taira (15-0 MMA).
After three straight losses, Perez returned to action in April of this year, defeating Matheus Nicolau (19-4 MMA) by knockout (more details here).
Taira is still undefeated inside the Octagon at just 24 years old, having defeated Carlos Hernandez (9-3 MMA record) by TKO in December of last year.
The co-main event at UFC Vegas 93 will feature a bantamweight bout between Douglas Silva de Andrade (29-5 MMA) and Myles Johns (14-2 MMA).
D'Silva faced Cody Stamann (21-7 MMA record) in May of last year and won by unanimous decision.
“Chapo” most recently defeated Cody Gibson (19 wins, 10 losses in mixed martial arts) by unanimous decision in March of this year.
