Ignacio Bahamondes continues to expand his highlight reel.
Bahamondes (15-5 MMA, 4-2 UFC) delivers a sharp head kick to Christos Giagos (20-12 MMA, 6-8 UFC) on the main card of UFC Fight Night 240 on Saturday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. I killed it with 3:34 of round 1.
Giagos fell to the canvas against the cage and was covered. Rather than punch again, Bahamondes saw his downed opponent in trouble and walked away in walk-off style.
Bahamondes bounced back from his loss to Ludovit Klein. His victory was his fourth in five fights. After Saturday's win, he did not request a specific matchup, but campaigned for a spot at UFC 306, scheduled to take place at The Sphere in Las Vegas in September.
Giagos, 34, has lost four of his last five matches.
