UFC's return to Denver is starting to fill up.
On Tuesday night, UFC CEO Dana White announced four bouts for the July 13 event, including the already-reported main card bout between Maycee Barber and Rose Namajunas.
In addition to Barber vs. Namajunas, three welterweight bouts are scheduled: Mike Marotte vs. Gilbert Urbina, Santiago Ponzinibbio vs. Muslim Salikov and Gabriel Bonfim vs. Ange Rosa.
Malotte (10-2-1), looking to bounce back after suffering his first UFC defeat at the hands of Neil Magny in January, will face Urbina (7-3), who is coming off a first-round knockout loss to Charlie Radke in February. Malotte is widely considered one of Canada's top UFC prospects.
The clash pits longtime veterans Ponzinibbio (29-7) against Salikhov (19-5), both of whom are in desperate need of a win after losing three of their past four UFC bouts.
Likewise, both Bonfim (15-1) and Roosa (10-3) are looking to get back on track after coming up short in their most recent bouts. Bonfim's unbeaten streak came to an end with a second-round knockout against Nicolas Dalby, while Roosa's win streak was ended by a no-contest due to an accidental eye poke against Brian Buttle.
UFC Denver will take place at Ball Arena and will mark the promotion's first return to the city since November 2018. Top flyweight contenders Barber and Namajunas will face off in the five-round main event.
