Paddy Pimblett requests custom orange shorts for UFC 304 return
Recently, some high-profile UFC fighters were given custom Venum shorts that they helped design.
The likes of Max Holloway, Justin Gaethje, Zhang Weili, Dustin Poirier and Alex Pereira all stepped into the Octagon with their own unique looks.
Paddy Pimblett will be hoping to add his name to that list when he returns at UFC 304 later this month.
Ahead of his fight against King (formerly Bobby) Green in Manchester, “The Buddy” took to Instagram to reach out to UFC's apparel partners with a special request.
During his time with the Cage Warriors before signing with UFC, Pimblett was known to wear bright orange shorts to fights, and he's hoping to pull them on again in front of British fans.
'Rampage' Jackson considers boxing match against Rashad Evans later this year
Quinton “Rampage” Jackson had to wait a long time to make his boxing debut due to a fruitless tussle with Shannon Briggs.
Now he may be shifting his focus and facing off against one of his biggest rivals once again.
Jackson and Rashad Evans fought back at UFC 114, with Evans winning by unanimous decision following one of The Ultimate Fighter's most memorable seasons.
Rampage has recently The Joe Rogan Experience The podcast reported that he is set to fight Evans and that ONE Championship could potentially host the bout at its event (ONE 169) in Atlanta on November 8.
“He's still trying, but I've lost faith in Shannon. [Briggs]”I don't know if he'll win. He's all talk. I hope he wins. If he wins, I'm more than willing to fight him, but as of now, my first boxing match will be against Rashad. I've got to get that win back,” Jackson said.
Magomed Ankalaev continues to criticize Alex Pereira after UFC 303
Magomed Ankalaev is as vocal as ever following his UFC light heavyweight title fight at UFC 303 on June 29.
After missing out on a title fight against champion Alex Pereira and instead being forced to face Jiri Prochazka in a rematch, Ankalaev believes he is the next champion.
He believes that “Poitan” does not want to fight him, and so continues to denounce him while making bold predictions about the fight.
In his latest post, he spoke about why this fight needs to happen next and reaffirmed that he would stop Pereira if they met inside the Octagon.
“There's a reason @AlexPereiraUFC stayed away from me. I understand it's a business. @ufc fights the best. He is the best right now. I keep my promise,” Ankalaev wrote to X. “I'll knock him out. @Mickmaynard2 @danawhite Nothing better than seeing an event where someone sleeps.”
