Oleksandr Usyk's promoter Aleksandr Krasyuk has admitted there is “no guarantee” the Ukrainian will face Tyson Fury.
Usyk and Fury are currently scheduled to fight Lockhorn in May, and were previously scheduled to fight in February and December.
Fury currently appears to be in the best form of his career, with the 35-year-old keen to pick up points following his commanding victory over Francis Ngannou in October.
The Gypsy King continues to insist that the fight with Usyk will take place despite previous fight delays.

However, Kraszczuk insisted to World Boxing News that there is “no guarantee” that fans' wishes to see the pair square off in the ring will be fulfilled.
“Theoretically, the rematch should take place by the end of 2024,” he said.
“But we all know Tyson is not the best rematcher in the world.
“And after he lost to Usyk in the first fight, you can't predict what he's going to do at all.
“Having said this, there is no guarantee that the first game will take place.
“The man has already declined four times in a row. We have also decided to stop all jokes and criticism of Luke.” [Tyson Luke Fury] To support his confidence.
“So if there's anything else we can do to help him get in the ring with Usyk, we're ready to do it.”
Krasyuk was then asked if there was a contingency plan in place in case Fury was injured again and the fight was postponed.
To this he added: “Usyk's goal is to win a fourth heavyweight belt and make it undisputed.
“Once we accomplish this mission, we can consider other options.”
One fight that could happen in the near future is Anthony Joshua vs. Usyk.
Joshua was previously seen as a declining force, but he is on the rise again.
AJ has won his past four fights, and his victory over Ngannou earlier this month is a testament to his prowess.
The 34-year-old has lost to Usyk twice in his career, with crushing defeats in 2021 and 2022, respectively.
And Krasyuk wonders if the two will ever face off again.

“The other thing that makes their third matchup unlikely is the order of duty,” he said.
“As everyone knows, the next stop on the merry-go-round is the IBF, not the WBC.
“No matter who wins, the rematch will be next because we will force it.
“Even if the IBF allows it [the mandatory] After the second fight, the next one will be IBF, not WBC. ”
Fury, meanwhile, said at the weekend that he was “feeling really good” as his showdown with Usyk drew closer and closer.
