The LSU football staff has been on a major recruiting spree throughout June, with several visitors coming and going to Baton Rouge.
On Tuesday, the key target traveled to Death Valley to tour the LSU campus with quarterbacks coach Joe Sloan. Brady Hart.
Hart, a top-10 quarterback in the class of 2026, visited Louisiana midweek and also toured several other programs, according to his social media.
The highly-touted playmaker has become a household name, receiving enticing offers from some of the top programs in the country, the most recent of which came from Dabo Swinney and the Clemson Tigers.
A source familiar with Hart's recruitment said Hart is currently on the road to inspect LSU, a school he rates highly.
Earlier this year, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish appeared to have the lead in his recruitment, according to the On3 Sports Recruiting Prediction Machine, but the Tigers have slowly started to make an impact in his recruitment.
Joe Sloan, who plays point guard for the team, has already been selected as the No. 1 quarterback for the 2025 season and is moving towards making the big board with Hart and three other prospects in mind for the 2026 season.
As a sophomore, Hart led his team to consecutive state titles and expectations are high heading into his third season of high school baseball.
Take a look at his performance at the state championships:
The Cocoa Tigers have a history of winning state titles, but with Hart under center, they remain a strong contender in their final two years of high school baseball.
Hart's physical attributes are a work in progress as he tries to put on weight, but his pocket presence is what makes him so impressive, and as a player who can add 25-30 pounds over the next few years, the potential is very real.
Another expected visitor: Dear Bell
The No. 2-ranked quarterback in the nation is scheduled to take an unofficial visit to Baton Rouge on Wednesday as the Tigers move to acquire the burgeoning point guard. The news was first reported by Thea Dixon of On3 Sports.
The 2026 American Heritage four-star quarterback from Fort Lauderdale, Fla., received an offer from Joe Sloan and Co. in February as his recruiting efforts were in full swing.
LSU accepted Bell's visit after inviting the coveted point guard to campus last fall for a game-day experience.
Dia, the son of former NBA player Raja Bell, has visited programs including Miami, Florida, North Carolina, Ohio State and Penn State in the past few months.
Now, he is expected to arrive in Louisiana on Wednesday and join LSU's annual elite camp on Thursday.
LSU Country will provide you with an update on Hart and Bell's recruiting following their trip to Baton Rouge.
