Two-time kickboxing and mixed martial arts (MMA) world champion and Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Loves Patra-Ekufu presents a celebrity concert aimed at promoting community engagement. Announced.
Patra-Ekufu, affectionately known as the “Nigerian Terminator”, revealed over the weekend that the project will run from November 29 to December 3, 2024.
She said the event, dubbed the Celebrity Global Fight Concert, will provide a platform for sports enthusiasts, celebrities and top celebrities from various walks of life to connect and network.
She said the concert would feature international celebrity boxing/wrestling entertainment matches and amateur martial arts displays as well. Faces of Celebrity Global Beauty Contest, Celebrity Global Impact Awards 2024 (CGIA), Live Music, Celebrity Global Fashion Show, Live Comedy.
“We're going to impact the community and educate people that MMA is more than just fighting. As martial artists, we have an innate discipline. You know, going far. If you want to go, life is all about discipline.
“Just because you're a kickboxer doesn't mean you can just go to the streets and have a fight. That's why we're holding this event to ensure a crime-free environment.
“This event is open to everyone. It's open to the public. Admission is free and those who qualify will be taken to the grand finale,” she said.
Also speaking about the event, the President of the Nigeria Kickboxing Federation, Mr. Okon Godwin, said: We are looking for things that will benefit them and society. We want to remove them from crime and prostitution. However, our campaign is not only aimed at women, men are also taken into account in our work. ”
In response, the Vice-President of the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria (PMAN), Mr Zaky Azai, congratulated the Nigeria Police Force for giving Patra-Ekufu a platform to develop his talent.
