Two teams from Rockwall and one from Rockwall Heath will compete in the Interscholastic League state soccer playoffs.
The 16-3-2 Rockwall Lady Jackets won the 10-6 district title with a 12-0 record and will play 10-11 Garland in the girls bi-district playoffs Monday at 7 p.m. They will play against Naaman Forest Lady Rangers. The game was played at Wilkerson Sanders Memorial Stadium in Rockwall.
Naaman Forest placed fourth in District 9-6A with an 8-8 record. In 9-6A, Sacks and Wylie East tied for first place with 15 wins and one loss. Wiley finished in third place with 12 wins and 4 losses.
Rockwall outscored its District 12 opponents by a combined score of 76-2.
Rockwall Heath, the 10-win District 6A No. 3 seed, will play Wylie East, the 9-0 District 6A No. 2 seed, in the girls bi-district playoffs at Ed Locker Stadium in Caddo Mills on Tuesday at 8 p.m. They will face off with a record of 21 wins and 1 loss. .
Heath went 9-3 in district play, outscoring opponents 29-12.
Wylie East outscored district opponents 102-7. The only blemish on the Lady Raiders' schedule was a 2-0 loss to Saxe. Wylie East won the first game against Saxony 3-2.
Rockwall's 11-7-3 Yellow Jackets will face 22-2 Wylie in the boys bi-district playoffs Tuesday at 7:15 p.m. at Wylie ISD Stadium. Rockwall finished fourth in District 10-6A with a 6-4-2 record.
The Yellow Jackets outscored their district opponents 25-16 in goals.
Rockwall Heath finished fifth in the District 10-6A standings at 5-4-3 and missed the boys playoffs.
Wiley won the District 9-6A boys title with a 15-1 record. The Pirates' only district loss was a 4-1 loss to Rowlett. Wiley then avenged his loss with a 5-0 victory. The Pirates outscored their district opponents 46-16.
