LAS VEGAS – Trey Ogden defeated Curt Holobaugh by unanimous decision on Saturday to end the UFC preliminary card on ESPN 53 at UFC Apex in Las Vegas.
Let's take a look behind the scenes of the battle against Ogden, which won the official game for the first time since September 2022.
Ogden talks about key moments of the game
“I'm very happy. Kurt's a tough guy, a true professional, a dangerous guy. To be honest, I was a little intimidated by him all through camp, so against a player like that. I am very happy that we were able to pull off such a dominant performance and secure such a tough victory.”
Ogden talks about his emotions before the game
“Fear is an emotion, not a decision. Fighters identify with fear, as if there is something wrong with them, as if it is their decision to be scared. What is fear? It's an emotion. Cowardice is an action. So I'll feel fear, but I won't show you cowardice. You'll be fine, especially if you're honest with yourself.”
Ogden talks about what he wants next
“I want to fight the winner of Viacheslav (Borshchev) vs. Chase Hooper. They're fighting on the St. Louis card on May 11th. I want the winner of that fight.”
