Brian Kelly and the LSU football staff remain active in the spring window of the NCAA transfer portal, with players announcing their intentions to leave the program.
Now, early-enrollment offensive lineman Joseph Cryer has decided to enter the transfer portal after arriving in Baton Rouge in January. On3 first reported the news of Cryer's entry into the portal.
LSU removed Cryer from Ole Miss during the recruiting process due to a late offer to him, and after a few months of spring ball, he is out of the program and back on the market.
The former three-star top prospect out of Louisiana will likely have multiple potential suitors as he searches for a transfer destination in the coming weeks.
Kelly and her colleagues continue to battle the number of scholarships this spring. With the program's roster ultimately dropping below 85 players, they will acquire several defensive linemen through the free agent market, but also see other players leave the program to reduce numbers. Dew.
Since the portal officially opened on April 16, LSU has had seven of its current members leave Baton Rouge in the past week. The portal will remain open until April 30th.

For LSU, it was clear that the program would see some movement this spring as the roster rebuild continues in Baton Rouge.
