Fantasy football season is rapidly approaching (the first preseason game is August 1st), so now is the time to take notes on players and personnel moves and create initial lists of rankings.
Below you can see my initial fantasy football rankings for each position: Next, I'll dig a little deeper into each fantasy lineup position.
Tight end has become a top-heavy position with a handful of elite fantasy options, but it drops off after the top 10. As a result, managers will decide whether to use their top 50 pick to secure a high-end option or hold off on the position until the mid-to-late rounds. So, let's take a look at our rankings of tight ends and some of the top values and duds for 2024.

Taysom Hill (19th TE, 29th ADP TE)
Hill is a versatile player in fantasy leagues, providing managers with stats as a pitcher, runner and receiver, and with Juwon Johnson's status uncertain to start the season, Hill could play a bigger role as a tight end in opening month. He's an intriguing No. 2 tight end.
Daniel Bellinger (21st TE, 38th ADP TE)
Darren Waller's retirement is a big boost for Bellinger from a fantasy football standpoint. He won't put up big numbers, but he'll certainly play a bigger role in the Giants' offense this season. I rate him as the No. 2 late-round fantasy tight end and expect his ADP to rise over the summer.
TJ Hockenson (18th TE, 15th ADP TE)
It's not a huge difference, but Hockenson is a tough player to rank as he returns from a season-ending AC injury. The Vikings also have new quarterbacks in Sam Darnold and JJ McCarthy, so he might be a little behind in terms of building trust with his new teammates. For now, he's a draft-and-keep option.
Isaiah is a good prospect (TE 32nd, ADP TE 23rd)
While he's probably capable of putting up big numbers in fantasy, he's hardly reliable in the games with Mark Andrews — in fact, he's only managed 35 catches in the 24 games he's played with Andrews — so drafting Isaiah is a long shot given the veteran is healthy going into the season.
