Notre Dame has a rich history of running backs.
Many NFL running backs, including Hall of Famers, and several All-Americans have called South Bend home, but the accomplishments of Notre Dame's running backs seem to be somewhat overlooked when compared to other position groups.
These names don't get as much love as quarterbacks or, more recently, some of the tight ends, or historically other positions.

Wood Finish 2,554 He had three career seasons with over 1,100 rushing yards, bursting on the scene in the second half of the 2010 season and recording over 1,100 rushing yards in 2011.
