Terence Crawford tops many pound-for-pound lists, but former two-division world champion Tim Bradley believes there is another man who has achieved more in the sport than Crawford.
Crawford turned in a career-defining performance against Errol Spence Jr. to become the first man to achieve undisputed status in two weight classes in the four-belt era.
It didn't take long for former cruiserweight champion Oleksandr Usyk to join the same exclusive club as Crawford.
Usyk handed Tyson Fury the only defeat of his career in May, beating the Briton on points via majority decision on the scorecards, which saw him achieve his goal of stripping “The Gypsy King” of his WBC belt and becoming the first unbeaten heavyweight champion in nearly 25 years.
Speaking to Probox TV, Hall of Fame fighter Bradley spoke about the accomplishments of both fighters and believes no one can match what Usyk has achieved in the ring.
“I love Terence Crawford, he has a lot of skill in the ring but he’s not super active. [Naoya] Inoue has also achieved incredible results in the lower weight classes.
But Usyk, you know, going undefeated at cruiserweight, going up to heavyweight and facing a guy who hasn't lost in years, you can do the math. You guys are smart.
To beat Tyson Fury, who was a great heavyweight champion or who I truly believe is a great heavyweight champion, is unbelievable, and nothing that Terence Crawford has done in his career or anything that Inoue has done in his career is greater than what Usyk has done.”
Usyk was subsequently forced to vacate his IBF title but will face Fury again on December 21 to defend his remaining three belts.
