Georgia Tech is on a recruiting spree. Following on from adding three players earlier in the day, Georgia Tech added a fourth tonight with the signing of three-star offensive lineman Kevin Pea. Pea is the Yellow Jackets' third player on the offensive line in the 2025 class, joining four-star Justin Hasenhuettl and three-star Jimmy Bryson.
Pea plays for Lancaster High School in South Carolina and will be the Yellow Jackets' 10th commitment in the class of 2025. Pea is a three-star prospect by 247Sports and is ranked as the No. 107 IOL prospect nationally and the No. 22 prospect in the state of South Carolina.
Pea is a strong offensive lineman who can get to the second level quickly and his abilities are evident on film. He also holds offers from Pittsburgh, Purdue, Appalachian State, Boston College, Cincinnati, Duke, Georgia Southern, Liberty, Marshall, Memphis, Missouri, USF and Virginia Tech. Pea still has official visits scheduled with Purdue and Pittsburgh, according to 247Sports. This is a solid acquisition for Georgia Tech and with a few years of development he could be a starter.
Georgia Tech's 2025 class is starting to come together. Just today they added safety Phoenix Felton, three-star athlete Jamauri Brice and three-star tight end Connor Rausch. Brent Key and his staff will be working to fill out his class for next season and move them up in the ACC recruiting rankings. The Yellow Jackets finished last season on a strong note with a great class, and they seem to be on the right path to putting together another strong class with developing players.
