The Michigan State football team received some good news on Saturday.
The Spartans bolstered their secondary with the commitment of three-star 2025 cornerback LaRue Zamorano, who announced his decision via X on Saturday.
Zamorano, who attends Centennial High School in Corona, California, is the No. 486 player in the nation and the No. 42 cornerback in the country, according to the 247Sports composite rankings.

Zamorano named seven schools at the top of his list on May 14: Oregon, Penn State, Arizona, Washington, Kansas, Southern California and Michigan State. His commitment to the Spartans highlights the success of first-year coach Jonathan Smith's West Coast recruiting efforts. Michigan State has announced three 2025 commits from California.
He also is the Spartans' third cornerback to commit in 2025, joining three-stars George Mullins and Aidan West.
The Spartans' 2025 freshman class currently has 16 prospects and is ranked 54th nationally.
