A new No. 1 in 4A girls soccer, no ties and at least one change in each of the four divisions highlights the 4th annual WyoPreps Coaches and Media Soccer Poll. Defending 4A champion Kelly Walsh is back at the top of the girls voting. Two teams in this class also re-entered the rankings. Two weeks ago, the 3A girls and boys were tied in the poll, but that relationship has broken down this time.
Wyoming High School Soccer Rankings Week 5 2024
There were no new rankings last week due to the lack of matches in the last week of March. He had at least one change in all four divisions.
The Trojans are back at No. 1 in 4A girls soccer. They received 10 of 14 votes after a head-to-head victory over Jackson in Casper last weekend. The Bronx dropped one spot to second place. Laramie remained in third place, receiving votes in all five positions. Natrona and Campbell counties returned to the rankings at No. 4 and No. 5, respectively. Seven other teams received votes in the poll.
In the 3A girls, Cody was once again unanimously voted No. 1. The filly received all 14 first-place votes. Worland held on to second place. Green River moved into third place despite not playing a game last week. Mr. Powell and Mr. Douglas each dropped one place. The Panthers were fourth and the Bearcats fifth.
Worland continued to maintain its No. 1 spot in 3A boys soccer. The Warriors received 11 of 13 first-place votes. Torrington and Cody remained in second and third place. The Blazers will host No. 1 Worland this weekend. Powell moved up from a tie for fifth to fourth place. Green River fell one spot to fifth place.
The No. 1 team in 4A boys soccer was once again Cheyenne Central. The Indians received eight of the 13 first-place votes. The Trojans moved up two spots with last weekend's win over Jackson, and the big mover was Kelly Walsh. This dropped the Bronx to third place and Thunder Basin to fourth place. Sheridan remained in fifth place in the voting by six points.
