The state's new NHL team is scheduled to play its first preseason game on Sept. 23 at the Delta Center.
The Utah Hockey Club announced its full preseason schedule for the 2024-25 season on Thursday, with the team playing just one of its seven games on home ice.
The Utah HC will make his debut on Sept. 22 against the St. Louis Blues at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, Iowa, before taking on the Los Angeles Kings the following night in Salt Lake City.
The game replaces a previously scheduled matchup between the Kings and the Vegas Golden Knights' Frozen Fury. The exhibition in Salt Lake City was scheduled before the Utah Hockey Club was formed, and the team said tickets will be refunded at the point of purchase.
Utah's third home preseason game, against the Colorado Avalanche on Oct. 5, will be played at the Maverick Center in West Valley City due to availability at the Delta Center.
