The Rock is in good health and ready for another grueling training camp.
The wrestling sensation turned Hollywood star returned to the ring at WrestleMania XL earlier this month.
They competed in the main event of WrestleMania on Saturday, pinning Cody Rhodes in a tag team match that included Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins.
The Rock (real name Dwayne Johnson) was also heavily involved in Sunday's action.
He strode into the ring to face fellow legend John Cena, then was seen off by The Undertaker in a chaotic scene that ended with Rose defeating Reigns to win the WWE Undisputed title. .
Now, he's leaving WWE and starting preparing for his next big gig.
Johnson will play former mixed martial arts fighter Mark Carr (a two-time UFC champion) with addiction issues in a biopic called The Smashing Machine.
The 51-year-old is still a little nervous about his return to wrestling, but insists he's learned a variety of martial arts and is ready to do Kerr justice.
“From wrestling rings to mixed martial arts cages,” he wrote in an Instagram video.
“With WrestleMania behind me, my second training camp of 2024 begins tomorrow for my next role in the film titled 'Smashing Machines.'
“My body is sore from Mania, but I have no injuries and feel great. I'm ready. I'll start my MMA training tomorrow. I'm going into this fight with pretty good conditioning and cardio. But MMA is a different animal.
“And Mark Carr was a 'one-of-one' monster. I rush into this Smashing Machine journey with deep respect and love for all MMA fighters and their culture.
“Especially those who have struggled with addiction. I've lost many friends (wrestlers) over the years to addiction and mental health issues, to the point of suicide, just when they should have left.” has arrived.
“This is my love letter to them. Let's get to work.”
In the video, Johnson reveals that his training camp will include “UFC legends and coaches” because he wants to “do the right thing” by Kerr and the MMA community.
“You’re going to get your ass kicked a lot,” he said. “But bring it!”
Smashing Machine, directed by Benny Safdie and starring British actress Emily Blunt, is scheduled to begin filming later this year.
MMA fans will be able to watch The Rock's new movie sometime in 2025.
