The undefeated Japanese boxing prodigy will face Jonathan Rodriguez (17-2-1), ranked 77th in the bantamweight division by Box-Rec, in his fourth boxing bout on July 20.
Rodriguez's two losses came to top-ranked Antonio Vargas (18-1-0) and Manuel Flores (18-1-0), but Nasukawa excels against more experienced opponents, with a combined record of 37 wins, 8 losses and 2 draws over his first three opponents.

Nasukawa is a powerhouse in Japan but little known in the West, best known for his 2018 exhibition boxing loss to Floyd Mayweather Jr. Still, Nasukawa's extensive career in kickboxing, mixed martial arts and boxing remains unsullied with over 50 bouts under his belt.

Nasukawa was just barely 20 years old when he defeated future One Championship superstar Rodtang Jitmuangnon in 2018. He has defeated some of the biggest names in Muay Thai and Japanese kickboxing, including Ken Segawa, Kyoji Horiguchi and Taiki Naito.
Nasukawa's kickboxing highlights include the Rolling Thunder, cartwheel kick, flying knee and numerous spinning knockouts. His most notable highlight was his cartwheel kick knockout of 71-fight veteran Federico Roma in 2019.
